Winder "Pete" Guidry, Jr., 79, a native and resident of Raceland passed away on Wednesday June 5, 2013.
Visitation was held at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church on Thursday from 8:30 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marguerite Robichaux Guidry; son, Jude Guidry, Guy (Annie) Guidry; daughter, Gay (Craig Meaux) Guidry; brother, Carroll; Guidry; grandchildren, Thad Guidry, Tricia Guidry, Taryn Guidry, Jean Paul Guidry, Mimi Guidry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Winder P. Guidry, Sr. and Lillian Folse Guidry; sister, Janet Guidry.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
