Samson “Big Nick” Guidry, 77 a native and resident of Grand Isle, La. passed away on Friday May, 22, 2020.
“Big Nick” is survived by his children, Nicky (Maryann) Guidry, Deacon (Charmin) Guidry, Tracey (Thomas) Guidry, Marie (Bryan) Pregeant and Rebecca Hickox; brother, Chuck Defess; sister, Jeanette Defess; 9 grandchildren.
“Big Nick” was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Elsie Defess Guidry; siblings, Jennifer Defess, Terry Guidry, Joclyn Defess; and lifelong friend, Penny “Honey” Besson.
“Big Nick” loved the beach, fishing and Mardi Gras. All who knew him loved him.
