Ruby Cantrelle

Ruby Lathrop Cantrelle, 87, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Larose passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Ruby is survived by her children: Donna Plaisance (Ricky), Bonnie Fortenberry (Thomas), Penny Harris, Lottie Danos (Danny), Patty Dufrene (Andrew); 13 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brother: Wood Watson Lathrop; sister: Debra Orgeron (Russell); and brother in law: Ted Cheramie.

Mrs. Cantrelle was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years: Emile “Blue” Cantrelle, Jr.; grandchild: Andy Joe Dufrene; parents: Davidson Lathrop and Regina Doucet Lathrop; and sister: Peggy Cheramie.

Private services were held per her wishes.
