RoseMary G. Robichaux

Rose Mary Guidry Robichaux, 91 years young, a native and resident of Raceland, LA. passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026.

She is survived by her children; Randall “Randy” Robichaux, (Leslie), and Rhonda R. Varnell (Dalbert, Jr.), grandchildren; Rachel Rogers (Jamie), Crystal Beyer (Travis), Daniel Varnell (Tina) and Summer Robichaux, great-grandchildren; Kinley Rogers, Emelina Beyer, Abigail Beyer, Isabella Beyer, Leo Beyer, Gemma Beyer, Luca Beyer, David Varnell, Jonathan Varnell, Christina Varnell, Wilson Chiasson and Ophelia Chiasson, sister; Alice Mae G. Plaisance and many nieces and nephews.

Rose Mary was preceded in death by her husband; Rudolph Joseph Robichaux daughter; Ramona Ann “Cookie” Robichaux, parents; Paul and Alice Mae D. Guidry and brother; Lovell Guidry.

Rose Mary had a love for gardening and enjoying the simple joys of life. For 39 years she was the sole proprietor of Roby’s Nursery on Wilson Street. In the spring, selling bedding and vegetable plants. When fall came around she would sell chrysanthemums for All Saints Day. In her family life she would watch the birds on her swing, paint pictures with Rudy or sew something for the family. Cooking up yummy meals and crocheting while she watched the tv with Rudy on volume 950. In other words, she was the best person and always there to lend a helping hand. We love you, we will miss you. Enjoy reuniting with Rudy to continue your ultimate love story. A special thanks to all her friends “family” at Maison Bienvenue and to Monica McWhorter for the love and care you provided to Rose. You truly have made these last year special for our family.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with burial in the Church Cemetery.
