Robert C. Benoit “Yab”, a native and resident of Chackbay, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2019, age 77.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11th at Our Lady of Prompt Succor in Chackbay from 8:00 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Robert is survived by his sons, Brett Benoit (Tina), Bart Benoit (Geri), Blake Benoit (Jeanine); grandchildren, Jace Benoit (Jessica), Coti Landry (Lex), Inndia Benoit, Noah Benoit, Hannah Benoit; great grandchildren, Addison Benoit and Evan Benoit; brothers, Clinton Benoit, Wilton Benoit, Roland Benoit, Howard Benoit and sister, Julie Benoit-Dempster.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Priscilla Thibodaux Benoit; parents, Bartholomew Jack Benoit and Victoria Morvant Benoit.
In lieu of flowers, consider donations to the American Cancer Society.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
