River Paul Hunter

River “Boo Doo” Paul Hunter, 3 months, passed away on Sunday, November 5th, 2023.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation at Christian Family Center in Galliano on Monday, November 13th, 2023 from 9:00 am until service time. A Celebration of River’s Life will begin at 12 noon with procession following to his burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery.

River is survived by his parents: Devin Paul Hunter and Ticy Helena Ordoyne; brother: Laken Paul Ordoyne; sister: Eddilynn Mae Ordoyne; great grandparents: Ruby D. “Mimi” Ordoyne, Geraldine “Gigi” Hunter, and Gary “Papa” Hunter; grandparents: Tabitha “Nana” Basulito, Morgan “Poppa” Basulito, Nina “Shh Shugg” Hunter, Shawna “Honey” Rodrigue, Glenn “Paw Paw” Rodrigue Jr.; Jake “Nonk” Hunter and loving godparents.

River was preceded in death by his great great grandparents: Betty “Momo” Graham, Harris “Paw Paw” Dufrene, Margaret “Maw Maw” Dufrene; great grandparents: Eddie “Poppy” Paul Ordoyne.

River was a happy baby and always smiling, he was full of life. He was always overjoyed to see his parents enter a room and was pure and loved.
