Ray Adams. Sr. 60, a native of Lockport and resident of Raceland passed away on Friday,
September 22 nd , 2023.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, October 2, 2023 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home, Raceland, LA and from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home, Raceland, LA. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Raceland, LA.
Mr. Ray is survived by his children: Jenny Leggett, Ray Adams, Jr., Stacey Adams (Travis), Lisa
Adams, Rosemarie Adams, and Nicholas Adams; 13 grandchildren; brothers: Robert Adams,
Raymond Adams, Jr., and Lance Sanchez; and sisters: Sandra Curole, Janice Bergeron, Cynthia
Curole, Charlene Adams, and Mary Dominque.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his loving wife of 33 years: Rosemary “Rosie” Mobley
Adams; and parents: Raymond Adams Sr. and Jane Sanchez Adams.
Ray loved working on old cars and trucks; and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a great friend to everyone who knew him.
