Odeno "Tony" Cheramie Jr.

Odeno “Tony” Anthony Cheramie, Jr., 79, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Services will be private.
He is survived by his son, Michael Cheramie (Stacy); daughters, Heidi Melancon (Patrick), Jamie Beamon (Everett Jr.), Stella Franklin; son-in-law, Clarence Higgins; 19 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his companion, Gail Cheramie; daughter, Deeanna Higgins; parents, Odeno Sr. and Esperance Cheramie and 2 grandchildren.
Special thanks to the doctors and staff of Morgan City Health Care and his great granddaughter, Gabrielle Aucoin for their excellent care and compassion.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
