Lonnie Wayne Rivers

Lonnie Wayne Rivers, 75, a native of Summerdale, Al. and resident of Golden Meadow, La. passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 with his loving family near his side.

Visitation is August 7, 2026 at Falgout Funeral Homes in Galliano, La. from 11:30 am until service time. A celebration of Life will begin at 1:00pm.

Lonnie is survived by his children; Scott Rivers (Michelle), Christine Gray (Ray), Hudson Lee, Jr. (Vicki) and Holly Lee Foreman (Carl), grandchildren; Brandon Rivers (Regan), Layla Rivers, Taylor Innabnit (Preston), Colby Gray, Brannon Lee, Harley Lee, Hunter Guidry, Mazie Leger (Casey), and Alora Foret (Drake), great-grandchildren; Allison Rivers, Wyatt Innabnit, Charlotte Innabnit, Sophia Leger, Rhett Leger, Beckham Foret and Anniston Foret.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his life partner Charlotte Lee, parents; Persons Rivers and Margaret Weaver Dunham, brother; Lester Rivers, sisters; Carol Jean Kirkland, Joyce Fulton, Olivette Jones and Jackie Lynn Paul, grandson; Dylan Bruce, great-grandson, Landon Leger.

Lonnie was well known for his sharp wit, big smile, and deep laugh. Although he will be greatly missed, we take comfort knowing he has returned home to the Lord and so many of his loved ones who have passed before him.
