Lawrence "Chine" Terrebonne

Lawrence “Chine” Terrebonne, 85, a native and resident of Golden Meadow entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, September 10th 2025.

Chine is survived by his children: Rhonda Cheramie (Timmy), Lynette Dardar (Miguel), Travis Terrebonne (Holly), Cher Polkey (Ronnie), Jodie Terrebonne, Phillip Cheramie (Tina), Billy Cheramie (Michelle), Buddy Cheramie, and Gerald Griffin; 3 generations of grandchildren.

Mr. Terrebonne was preceded in death by his loving wife of 25 years: Eva Mae Leonard Terrebonne; sons: Rhoddy Terrebonne and Rickey Cheramie, grandsons: Korik Sassoni and Bryce Terrebonne; granddaughter: Tara Terrebonne; and parents: Alidore and Ester Terrebonne; and sisters: Audrey Felarise and Barbara Duet.

He was the owner of Chine’s Cajun Net Shop and enjoyed making nets for generations of fisherman. Chine’s biggest enjoyment was spending time with his loving family.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to granddaughter, Gabriel Terrebonne and caregiver, Mandy Gisclair and Journey Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow from 9:00 am until service time. A Celebration of his life will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to his burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
