June 20, 1931 — February 12, 2025
June M. Richard, 93, a native of Labadieville and resident of Raceland passed away on Wednesday, February 12th, 2025.
Mrs. June is survived by her daughter: Julie Ann Foret (Robert); grandchildren: Rhonda Plaisance (Lannie), Todd Foret, Jared Foret (Tabatha), Stacy Loupe (Brent); great grandchildren: Chelsea Chauvin, Lauren Plaisance, Taylor Plaisance, Morgan Plaisance, Ty Foret, Jarek Foret, Rayce Foret, Chaz Loupe, Jase Loupe, and Zoey Loupe; and one great great grandchild: Elli Flint.
Mrs. Richard was preceded in death by her husband: Willie J. Richard; parents: Theodule and Elmire Aucoin Cancienne; brother: Audrey Cancienne; and sisters: Ester Chiasson and Margie Landry.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Raceland on Saturday, February 22nd at 11:00 am.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
