Judith C. Pitre, better known as "Maw Maw Pitre", 91, a resident of Galliano, who dedicated her life to serving Jesus and those around her passed away on February 10, 2014 at 4:20 a.m.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 17th from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at Family Christian Center. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
She is survived by her sons, Noble Pitre and wife Joyce, Jackie Pitre and wife Liz, Tab Pitre and wife Yvette; daughter, Bonnie Mixon; 11 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Pitre, Jr.; parents, Ernest and Vina Pitre Cantrelle; son, Gus Pitre; brother, Percy Cantrelle, Henry Cantrelle; sisters, Mozanna C. Gisclair, Angelle C. Crosby, Viola C. Gisclair, Alida C. Hebert; one grandson.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
