Joyce Champagne Hebert

Joyce Champagne Hebert, 86, a native of Raceland and a lifelong resident of Lockport, LA, passed away, with her daughter and grandchildren by her side, on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Visitation and Mass will be celebrated at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Date and times are currently pending.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Kayla Hebert Trosclair (Seth); grandchildren, Camden, Addison, Ainsley and Avery Trosclair; brothers, Albert and Tilden Champagne, Jr., sisters; Gayle Theriot, Christine Brubaker and Gertie Chiasson; Godchild, Joanne “Josie” Danos (Sidney).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold P. Hebert; parents; Tilden P. and Olga Fremin Champagne; brothers, Patrick Stanley Champagne, Lewis Guy Champagne and Ray “Shomp” Champagne.

Whether she was cooking a comforting meal or baking something sweet, she brought people together with the flavors and love she poured into every dish.

She enjoyed camping trips and sewing. Above all, her greatest happiness came from spending time with her family.

The family would like to thank Dr. Wolfort with St. Anne Hospital and the staff at Heart of Hospice, specifically, Allen, Rusty, Sydney and Cynthia for their compassion and care provided to Ms. Joyce.
