James J. "Jimmy" Terrebonne, 75, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, passed away on Sunday October 7, 2012.
Visitation will be held at South Lafourche Baptist Church on Tuesday October 9, 2012 from 1:30 p.m. until funeral time. The United Veterans League will hold a military service at 2:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the church at 3:30 p.m. with a private burial at a later date.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gloria G. Terrebonne; sons, Shane Terrebonne and wife Karen, Chad Terrebonne, Sr.; daughters, Rhonda T. Owensby and husband Jimmy, Monique T. LaJaunie and husband Lorne, Sabrina T. Nixon and husband Guy; sisters, Lois T. Vizier, Emma T. Bergeron; 11 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack, Sr. and Leoncia Terrebonne; brother, Jack Terrebonne, Jr.; sister, Yvonne Molaison.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
