Geraldine Ougel Ledet

Mrs. Geraldine Ougel Ledet, 90, a native of Larose and resident of Thibodaux passed away on Saturday, June 21st, 2025.

Mrs. Geraldine is survived by her daughter: Sharon Ledet Morvant (Carl); sons: Melvin Ledet Jr. (Kathy), Tim Ledet (Kathleen), John Ledet (Angie); 9 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great greatgrandchildren.

Mrs. Ledet was preceded in death by her husband: Melvin Michael Ledet, Sr.; parents: Francis and Lena Duplantis Ougel; and sisters: Engora Verdin, Leola Brossette, Audrey Callahan, and an infant brother.

The Ledet family would like to thank the staff at The Broadway and Hope Hospice for their tender care and heartfelt service.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose on Friday, June 27th, 2025 from 10:00 am until service time. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 am with burial following in the Church Cemetery.
