Emelda Cheramie Gisclair

Emelda “Mel” Cheramie Gisclair, 62 a native and resident of Galliano, La. passed away on February 28, 2021.
Visitation will be Friday March 5, 2021 from 11:00am until 2:00pm at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off, La. with cremation to follow.
Mel is survived by her children; Adam Griffin, Andy Griffin, Jimmy “T.J.” LeBlanc and Toya LeBlanc, companion; Russell Adams, brothers; Gary, Jessie, Dickey, and Paul Cheramie, sisters; Doris Crappel
l, Martha Daigle, Brenda Crappel, Odile Cheramie and Theresa Cheramie, 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Mel was preceded in death by her parents; Marcel and Earline Rousse Cheramie, brothers; Marcel, Jr., James, and Ted Cheramie, sister; Linda Cheramie.
Mel loved the outdoors and sitting on her porch feeding the squirrels.
