Delton Demere, 78, a native of Chokoloskee, FL and resident of Leeville, LA passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
Visitation will be held at Lighthouse Worship Center on Tuesday, January 19th from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. with burial in Cheramie Cemetery.
Delton is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Coupel Demere; sons, Heath Demere, Keith Demere, Nicholas Demere (Shelley) and Caleb Demere (Courtney); daughters, Lorraine Coomes (Donnie) and Shonnie Theriot (Jamin); brother, Damas DeMere (Connie); sister, Bernice Kibodeaux; grandchildren, Jeremy Coomes, Stacy Brecht, Kory Demere, Savannah Camp, Heath Jordon Demere, Jessica Demere, Angel Theriot, Ashton Dardar, Morgan Theriot, Ethan Demere and Evan Demere; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Gunnar, Saylor, Lucy, Abby and Caroline “C.C.”.
Delton was preceded in death by his parents, Wayland and Sylvia Demere; grandson, Jonathon Theriot.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
