Clyde W. Pregeant, Jr.

“With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Clyde Pregeant, Jr. a beloved Businessman, who left us on January 17, 2025. Known for his infectious laughter and unwavering kindness, Clyde was a pillar of our community, always ready to lend a helping hand. He was a native of Lafourche Parish, Louisiana and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.

 Clyde is survived by his sons; Bryan (Marie) Pregeant and Brad (Rockelle) Pregeant; grandchildren, Breanne and Brooke Pregeant, Brad, Jr. (Callie) and Brock (Chelsea) Pregeant; great-grandchildren, Josie “Jo-Jo” Dylynn Pregeant, Layla, Lola, and Knox Pregeant; brother,  Robert “Bobby” and, sister; Betty Pregeant. 

 Clyde is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Nadine “Deanie” Lafont Pregeant; parents, Clyde, Sr. and Ouida Knight Pregeant; and his brother, Richard “Dickey” Pregeant. 

 In lieu of flowers donations are preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at http://www.stjude,org. in his honor. 

 Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux, Louisiana from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux, Louisiana. We are honored to have Father Mark Toups as our celebrant.
