Clarence Roman Triche, 82, native and resident of Cut Off, LA, had passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026.
Mr. Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Mrs. Rosita Marie Triche; his son, Scottie Triche; his grandchild, Bethany Boura Danos; his great-grandsons, Carter Paul Danos, Bradley Thomas Danos, and Roman Michael Danos; his sister, Gayle (Clyde) Duet; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brad Michael (Bambi) Triche; his parents, Clarence H. and Irene P. Triche; and his brother, Collin Joseph Triche.
Clarence had a magnetic presence who lit up every room he entered, he had a larger-than-life personality with a heart of gold. He was a rare, courageous soul—generous to a fault and a natural comedian who won people over instantly. Whether he was holding court at the poker table or eagerly sharing a joke, people naturally gravitated toward his warmth. Yet, for all his charisma and love of a good card game, his greatest winning hand was his family; his grandsons were truly his world and his proudest legacy.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday June 12, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off, from 10:00 AM until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 12:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
