Catherine R. "Cathy" Vaughn, 69, a native and resident of Raceland passed away at 10:52 a.m. on Monday February 25, 2013.
Visitation will be held at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristi V. Morvant and husband Carl; brothers, Donald Robichaux, Frances Robichaux and wife Brenda, Samson "Sammy" Robichaux and wife Cheryl; brother-in-law, Manuel Ferrier; sisters, Eve R. Breaux Bruce and husband Roy, Rosalie R. Benoit and husband Eroy, Charlene R. Griffin and husband Michael Thompson; sister-in-law, Annie Robichaux; grandchildren, Robbie Kincy and fiancée Renee Lagarde, Dustin Kincy and fiancée Melanie Dempster, Brenna Morvant; great-grandchild, Kiley Kincy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Vaughn; parents, Paul, Sr. and Marie Pertuit Robichaux; brother, Paul Robichaux, Jr.; sister, Lovenia R. Ferreira.
She was a catholic and a parishioner of St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, please make in kind donations to The American Cancer Society and Relay for Life.
