Catherine Bourgeois Bourg

Catherine Bourgeois Bourg, 79, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Galliano passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off on Thursday, August 5th from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and resume on Friday at Bethel Christian Ministries from 9:00 A.M. until funeral time. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. with burial to follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
She is survived by her brothers, Paul Bourgeois and Edward Bourgeois; sisters, Betty Terrebonne and Jeanette Dufrene.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Bourg; parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Touchard Bourgeois; step-mother, Lorvenia Lee Bourgeois; in-laws, Joseph and Eva Bourg; brothers, Eugene Bourgeois and Edless Melancon; sisters, Rougine Burns, Barbara Dardar, Dolores Mobley, Jeanette Bourgeois and Sylvia Melancon.

Catherine never met a stranger. She was selfless and loved the Lord. She loved being a practical jokester.
