Carol Mitchell Pitre, a native of Lockport and longtime resident of Galliano passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the age of 62.
Carol is survived by her son, Otis "Opie" Pitre Jr. (Reanna); daughter, Christina Pitre; her companion, Reola Lanegrasse Sr.; grandchildren, Gabrielle Crosby, Laila Duffourc, Keith Pitre, Mallory Falgout, great-granddaughter, Stella Ann Crosby; sisters, Sherlene Boudreaux, Connie Daniel, Holly Hebert, Bobbie Sue Mitchell; uncles, Billy and Steve; and her Aunt Earline.
She was preceded in death by her Husband; Otis Pitre Sr.; parents; Evelyn and Harold Mitchell; and her Aunt Sandy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Galliano at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Cheramie Cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
