Bobby G. Rister

Bobby G. Rister, 81, a native of Fort Sill, Oklahoma and resident of Lockport, La. passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. Date and times are pending for a Memorial Service. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 62 years; Patricia “Patsy” C. Rister, sons; Norman Rister (Roxanne) and Troy Rister, grandchildren; Courtney Rister, Lexy Rister (Kerra), Brittany R. Disbrow (Billy), and Antonio Rister, and brother; Brent Rister. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; J.C. and Katie H. Rister, sister; Betty Lou R. Thibodaux. Bobby was retired from Union Carbide and was a member of Local 60. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and raising exotic birds.
