Barbara Ann Gisclair

Barbara Ann Gisclair, 81, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano passed away on Thursday, October, 12th, 2023.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 from 9:00 am till service time. A Celebration of her Life will begin at 11:00 am with procession following to her burial in Cheramie Cemetery.

Mrs. Barbara is survived by her daughters: Lillian Bonvillian (Gerald) and Elaine Cheramie; sons: Alan Gisclair, Brian Gisclair (Pat), Rogers Gisclair, Sam Gisclair Jr. (Ramona), and Rodney Gisclair; 26 grandchildren; 56 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren with one great grand baby on the way; godson: Reese Gisclair; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gisclair was preceded in death by her husband: Sam Gisclair Sr.; parents: Alice and Douglas Glynn Sr.; sisters: Mary Serigny and Lillian Susan Glynn; brother: Douglas Glynn Jr.; grandparents: Tavi Melancon and John Melancon; granddaughter: Rochelle Lynn Gisclair; and grandson Chad Michael Bonvillian Sr; daughters in law: Diana Solar Gisclair, Debra Martin Gisclair, Olanda Leblanc Saltzman, Nora Lee Bruce Gisclair; and son in law: Irvin “White” Cheramie.

Mrs. Barbara loved playing BINGO, spending time with her family and speaking about the Lord.
