Arthur Joseph Pierce, 66, a native and resident of Cut Off, died at 3:05 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until funeral time Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off. A Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Monday at the church, with a private burial at a later date.
He is survived by his sons, Troy Pierce and wife, Alicia, and Chad Pierce; brothers, Curtis Pierce and wife, Cindy, Jessel Pierce and wife, Rachel, Bryant Pierce and wife, Judy, and Patton Pierce and wife, Lisa; sisters, Priscilla Trahan and husband, Elson, and Mona Danos and husband, Doug; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Boudreaux Pierce; and his parents, Alcee "Tom" Pierce and Adela Lafont Pierce.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off is in charge of arrangements.
