Hudson H. Foret

Hudson H. Foret, 102, a native and resident of Raceland, La. passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 with his loving family near his side.
Visitation will be Monday, March 11, 2024 at St. Hilary Poitiers Catholic Church from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with burial in the Church Cemetery. Military Honors will be at 10:00am.
Hudson is survived by his children; Ralph (Charla) Foret, Barry (Tana) Foret, Jackie F. (James) Danos, Judy F. (Donald) Watts, Karen F. LeBlanc, son-in-law; Keith Blanchard, grandchildren; Ralph, Jr. (Amy), Rebecca (Jason), Joshua (Kelly), Jordan (Karah), Jamie, Jeffery, Jason (Trey), Kacy (Kevin), Shannon (Ryan), Jude (Jamie), and Hope (Matt), great-grandchildren; Cole, Connor, Ava, Ayden, Amelia, Miles, Erika, Kayla, Lincoln, Layton, Hudson and Harvey.
Hudson was preceded in death by his wife; Madge B. Foret, daughter; Kathy F. Blanchard, grandchildren; Zachary Foret and Noel LeBlanc, parents; Wiltz P. and Georgiana Richard Foret, siblings; Wiltz J. Foret and Bella F. Vedros.
Hudson was a member of the United States Coast Guard during WWII, life member of V.F.W. Post 3665, American Legion 349 and of 40 & 8 club. He was a parishioner and usher at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church.
